In order to enable the Weifang generator set to better use fuel, an oil-water separator is installed before leaving the factory, which brings convenience to users. After using it for a long time, I will explain the specific replacement method.
1. Open the drain valve and release a portion of the fuel
2. Remove the filter element and the water cup together in the counterclockwise direction of the thread, and then remove the water cup from the filter element.
3. Carefully clean the water cup and oil ring. Be sure to pay attention to the quality of the water cup and oil ring. Generally, the quality of diesel engine accessories from our regular generator manufacturers has been inspected.
4. Apply a thin layer of grease or fuel to the oil ring of Weifang generator set, then install a new filter element on the water cup, and tighten it by hand. Here is a special reminder to everyone to avoid damaging the water cup and filter element. Please do not use any tools when tightening.
5. Apply a thin layer of oil to the top oil ring of the filter element using grease or fuel, then install the water cup and filter element together into the joint and tighten them by hand
6. To eliminate the air in the filter element of Weifang generator set, start the oil injection pump at the top of the filter until oil seeps out from the filter
7. Start the Weifang generator set to check for leaks, and if so, shut it down for troubleshooting.
